Julian Frumar used to be our Visual Communications Manager until last year, when he left to explore new grounds and created a startup with two friends in Palo Alto called Omnisio. They received Y-combinator funding and worked hard on creating this video-centric Web2.0 startup in a very short time.
Today, Techcrunch announced that Omnisio were acquired by Google to extend the YouTube technology base for an estimated US$15M. Congratulations, Julian! |

On 11th June, the International Advertising Bureau (IAB) have published another milestone standard for online video. This time it is about measuring in-stream video ads. The document focuses around the four most common used in-stream advertising formats: - Linear Video Ad With or Without Companion Ad
- Linear Video Interactive Ad
- Non-linear Overlay Ad
- Non-linear Non-Overlay Ad
The document is interesting since it summarises the state of art in video in-stream metrics - metrics that we are also preparing to offer in the Vquence metrics mix. |
